Mary Poppins continues to stay in people's hearts since its 1964 release.

Now, Disney is dusting of Ms. Poppins for a new flick chronicling how Walt Disney got the rights to the book.

The new film, Saving Mr. Banks, will show how close Mary Poppins' author, Aussie P.L. Travers, was to her prized book.

So who are the megastars slated to play Disney and Travers?

None other than Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep!

Check out the newly-released trailer (above) for Disney's John Carter, which debuted last night at the Super Bowl!

When we saw the first trailer for this movie back in December, it seemed to us like it was basically Prince of Persia in space…but we're starting to think there might be more to it!

It IS being directed by the the guy made Wall-E, after all!

Wow! This gets us pretty excited for this flick!

Disney's prequel to the Wizard of Oz, titled Oz: The Great and Powerful, which stars James Franco as the man himself, is well into production, and a Perezcious reader sent us this really neat photo that an extra posted on Facebook - with a flying monkey!

Cars Land is set to open at Disney California Adventure park this summer, and as part as its promotional campaign, Yellow Shoes Creative Group has released this pretty awesome photo-realistic composite of one of its attractions, Radiator Springs Racers (above)!

Just magical!

Disney is allowing their employees to let their hair down!

Okay, maybe not.

Long known as the "Disney Look," male employees were only allowed to grow mustaches like Walt Disney. Now Disneyland is allowing its males to sport beards as well.

The beards can't get toooo crazy. The beards must be shorter than a quarter of an inch.

Soul patches are still a no-go.

The stringent policy was put in place as Disney believes it's casting characters, not hiring employees.

Yes, even the ticket booth person is a "casted character."

Score one for team beard!

We know where we are going to be every night this summer. EVERY NIGHT!

Those of you who live in Los Angeles probably have a love/hate relationship with the famed Hollywood Bowl. You hate it because come June 22nd, the only way you're going to get on the 101 is if you wait till 1am to drive along Highland Blvd … and even then it is a crap shoot! But you also love it because only the Hollywood Bowl can put on such great entertainment ranging from Broadway musicals to musical legends!

The schedule for the 2012 summer season has been announced and the HIGHlights are ones not to be missed. For starters, the incomparable Liza Minnelli will be performing on August 11th for a one-night only concert event. The night before, the Bowl will host Norah Jones for her single evening show.
