Diversifying

Spice Girls Mel "Scary" B. and Emma "Baby" Bunton have been bitten by the acting bug.

Scary told a reporter at the Glamour magazine Women of the Year awards in London on Wednesday that she's been offered a part in Legally Blonde on Broadway.

So fun!

Mel's a little old to play a college girl, so we're assuming we'll see her as the beauty salon worker Elle befriends.

She also revealed that she's working on a sitcom AND planning to launch her clothing line on Project Runway.

Busy, busy!

Baby Spice told the media at the London event, "I'm really looking forward to doing some acting – a TV drama, maybe something a bit gritty."

Wouldn't it be interesting to see Baby all broody and cracked out?

Good luck with the acting, ladies.

We've seen Spice World…get yourselves a good coach!

Girl Power Is Still Alive!

Now THIS is how you do it!

Unlike some messes, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton looked simply radiant at the Glamour magazine Women of the Year awards in London on Tuesday.

They're glowing! LITERALLY!

And they're mothers!

Sigh.

We want the Spice Girls back!!!

Their Goodbye Message

offers-47-23-11302007__opt.jpg

The Spice Girls ended their massively successful reunion tour last night. But, before they're gone for good (or just a while), the ladies have these parting words for their fans.

Emma, Geri, Mel. B., Melanie C. and Victoria just posed the following farewell on their official blog:

"Hello…

Our time is up… we've come to the end of the road… there are tears of both sadness and joy. Look how far we've come!

Who would have thought that our reunion could have turned out to be this amazing? It just shows what can grow out of an exciting thought, an idea, a hope, a dream. Yes, our reunion tour is proof that dreams do come true.

We have been lucky enough to have shared it with the most loyal fans in the world. Ten years on, you came back still wanting more… and it looks like we made some new friends along the way. You have inspired and ignited us with each show, the 47 that we performed, each time was amazing and it is thanks to you.

So we look to the future with hope and imagination and let Girl Power live on through all of you as it will continue in us and the future generations to come.

We have learnt so much through you and through each other.

"Never give up on the good times always believe in the love you find."

We hate goodbyes but sadly the time has come to take our final bow so maybe our song says it best:

"Goodbye my friend, it's not the end… So glad we made it, time will never ever change it… "

Mission Accomplished…

Love

Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria

You're Shit Out Of Luck

If you didn't catch the Spice Girls reunion tour during the majority of their dates in the UK or the U.S., then you're fucked!

Though they had promised to go to Asia, South America, Australia and other places, the ladies have now officially announced that they will be ending their run after their last shows in the U.S. this month.

Bummer!

TheSpiceGirls.com says:

01 February 2008
IMPORTANT TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT

Sadly the tour needs to come to an end by the end of February due to family and personal commitments for Emma, Geri, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria. It was announced in June that, as well as the Europe and the US, the girls planned to visit Australia, China, South Africa and Argentina. Due to the phenomenal demand for tickets in the UK and the US along with the touring logistics for such a massive production it was not possible to fit everything in. As the girls return to normal family life and the kids go back to school they are reviewing all the options, who knows what the future might bring!

The girls said: “We’ve had such an amazing time over the last 3 months. It’s been incredible being back together and seeing our fans again. We want to thank everyone who came to see us. It was all so mad the first time round, so we’ve really been able to appreciate it properly this time. There have been so many highlights and good times that we know it will be hard to be apart after Toronto. Really sorry if we didn’t get to see you this time round. We all have other commitments in our lives now but who knows what will happen next.”

Who Forgot To Pay The Light Bill???

Oops!!!

The Spice Girls ended their concert in silence on Wednesday night, PerezHilton.com has learned.

During their final song, Spice Up Your Life, the confetti or something blew out the sound system.

The ladies kept on singing and looking around awkwardly for the last two minutes.

The concertgoers in Boston tell us they had a great time, despite the not so little glitch.

We expect videos to hit the web ASAP!

Also, Posh had some bandages on her back, which got people talking.

How….peculiar!

When Celebrities Blog

Let's take a break from Britney and Heath, just for a minute, shall we???

Emma Bunted has updated the official Spice Girls blog.

This is what she has to share:

"Hi guys,

Firstly I would like to thank everybody who sent messages and made my birthday extra special! I had the best time! It couldn't have been more perfect, spending my birthday on stage with the girls and 20,000 people singing happy birthday.

After the show, me and the girls had a couple of drinks (a couple!) and a good old boogie with the band and dancers.

I was lucky enough to have a day off on my actual birthday and spent the whole day in my pyjamas with my two boys and my mum - totally relaxing.

Tonight was the last night at The O2 and it was an emotional night. The audiences here have been amazing and its been great having friends and family with me every night.

I was packing this morning for Manchester and I'm looking forward to heading up north, it's always such a fantastic atmosphere.

See you there,

Lots of love,
Emma"
