We LOVE us some Gabby Douglas around here. She's inspiring, strong, and one badass girl.

Having said that, we have two questions about this memoir:

1. How old is she? Why is she writing a memoir so early??

2. HOW DID SHE FIND THE TIME TO DO THIS??

Seriously! The girl has been going NON-STOP since the Olympics — how in the world did she find time to write an entire memoir??

Gabby Douglas was thiiiiiiis close to being committed to an insane asylum last year when she told her coaches and her family that she was going to quit gymnastics and try and get a real job — at Chik-fil-A.

WTF!

Here's what she says about it, which isn't much. We wouldn't want to think about what might've been either:

Even the simplest of routines can be dangerous!

Jacoby Miles, unfortunately, was not one of the lucky ones. She's a 15 year old competitive gymnast from Washington. She had done the routine she was about to practice a thousand times before. She 'got lost' during her second flip, and as she was disoriented, she landed on her neck.

We know that McKayla Maroney has gained a significant amount of her notoriety through her now iconic "not impressed" face - which the Olympic gymnast first debuted while on the podium with her silver medal because of her disappointment over a fall in the vault that lost her the gold - but we NEVER thought she would be so difficult to please that she would wear that SAME expression when meeting the President of the United States!

Nor did we expect Barack Obama to throw it right back at her!

But lo and behold, when the pair met at the White House recently and posed for a photo together, that is

First… why is New York City called the "Big Apple?"

As far as we know they don't have apple trees there or anything. They barely have any vegetation at all! LOLz!

Regardless of the name, Gabby Douglas was there, walking the mean streets of Manhattan.

The gold medal winning Olympic gymnast was looking as fit as ever, possibly even about to go for a workout!
