A famous last name will only take you so far!

Last night Jim Carrey's Daughter, Jane, was kicked out of the American Idol competition.

The show got a lot of flak for giving the comic's daughter special treatment. Producers allegedly let Jane audition for round one without waiting in line for hours days like everybody else. Nobody likes a cutter, Jane!

Jane blames her lack of talent "nerves and shaking" for her elimination, but she keeps her chin up. She says her dad was rejected plenty of times before he made it big, so she's not giving up.

Jim Carrey will be the latest star to grace 30 Rock and by the looks of it, he'll be doing something dastardly!

The comedian will be on the lam during his guest spot but not much is known as to WHY he will be on the run.

Yesterday, the paparazzi stumbled upon the set of Burt Wonderstone and got their first look at Olivia Wilde in her full, super hero attire.

We almost didn't recognize her at all and we even argued that, like the guy in the donkey suit to her right, there was a stunt double in the suit posing as her. But you can see it in the eyes — that's Olivia alright — but she doesn't look too happy.

What? Like when she was a little girl, she never dreamed of starring a movie alongside Jim Carrey where she would be stuck in leather bondage all night long and then have to hit a man dress as a donkey pinata for candy? Okay, maybe not…

Still, she looks pretty hot! A hot momma indeed! We love the little heart just above her tittays there! Precious! LOL!

Is Cameron a bit nervous about her big leap into her 40s?

Rumors of the actress going under the knife are setting the Internet ablaze.

Recent photos of Cameron have speculate that she may have gotten a new set of girls and her face is looking awfully…shiny.

Jim Carrey's beautiful 24-year-old daughter Jane Carrey auditioned for American Idol on last night's episode - and guess what? She's good!

She didn't blow the judges away with her rendition of Bonnie Raitt's Something to Talk About, but they definitely wanted to see more of her.

She also made Jennifer Lopez feel extra old when J.Lo remembered Jane as a little baby while working with her dad on In Livin' Color back in the early '90s. Um, that was two decades ago, Jen. Do you really want to go down that path??

Also starring in the flick are Olivia Wilde and Steve Buscemi as Burt's assistant, Anton Loveface.

Wait - wasn't there already another one with Steve Carell?

Jim Carrey is reportedly in talks to reprise his role in Bruce Almighty for a proposed sequel, with Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel set to write it!

Although nothing is official, we're hearing that the film is expected to be a starring vehicle for the actor, and let's face it - he seriously needs one!

But doesn't this feel a little a lot tired? We think so!

Seriously - how many times can one man magically receive the powers of God?
