jim carrey did not like dieting for his new film

Oh really???

Jim Carrey just got done filming his new flick, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, in which he had to go shirtless for several scenes.

So of course, in order to get in shape, he not only had to work out, but he also had to diet.

However, while most people enjoy watching themselves slim down, the actor thought it was the most horrible thing he ever had to go through.

Jim Carrey Bikes Around NYC

He looks so happy!

Jim Carrey took a bike ride around the West Village in NYC yesterday while taking a break from promoting his new film, Mr. Popper’s Penguins.

Seems like he’s finally getting past the Jenny McCarthy breakup!

Plus, look at those arms! Someone's been hitting up the gym it seems.

Jim Carrey Working On His Fitness While Jimmy Fallon Interviews Him

| Filed under: TV NewsSilly!Jim Carrey

It's called multi-tasking people! Get on board!

Last night, Jimmy Fallon was joined by Jim Carrey on Late Night to talk about some of the exciting things happening for Jim these days.

Rocking a Sue Sylvester track suit, Jim spent the ENTIRE interview jogging on a treadmill. You could ask why, but the only answer we have is, "Why not?!"

It's pretty HIGHlarious actually as Jim literally doesn't slow down for sec while Jimmy grills him about hosting Saturday Night Live and his new movie, I Love You Philip Morris.

He just keeps answering all of his questions in stride! Lol!

Check out the rather unique interview above!

Jim Carrey Gets A Kick Out Of His New Movie

| Filed under: Film FlickersJim CarreySoccer

He looks like he's getting in some practice too!

Jim Carrey was on the set of his new movie, Mr. Popper's Penguins, last week, filming a scene in Central Park. Poor guy had to kick around a soccer ball with his penguin pals, but considering they're animated, he was pretty much just kicking it around to…no one.

Whomp, whomp! Just wait till Hollywood works its magic! It'll all come together.

Check out more pictures from the shoot below!

Jim Carrey Quit Three Stooges Due To Concerns About Weight Gain

| Filed under: Film FlickersJim CarreyHealth

We can’t think of anyone more perfect to play Curly in the upcoming Three Stooges movie. Unfortunately, Jim Carrey decided to drop out for reasons unknown until now — he was worried that the weight he would have to gain for the character could cause drastic health problems.

Said Carrey:

"There wasn't any creative difficulties that led to this exit, but rather the weight gain for the role. For me, I don't really want to do anything halfway, and I don't feel like a fat suit does it. I started experimenting with it a little bit, and I gained 35, 40 pounds. I wanted to gain another 30, 40.”

Carrey explained that he was concerned that because of his age he would have trouble losing the weight when the movie finished:

"When you're (Robert) De Niro in your 20s or early 30s, you can kind of come back from that (weight gain). It's a tough thing to come back from when you're upwards of 30. Your body can't carry it or you can have a cardiac arrest."

We support his decision to pull out, even thought he would have been great!

Who do U think should replace him?
