Though we still have a wait until the movie hits theaters, Tim Burton, Disney, and Co. have really been trying to give a decent glimpse of what is to come in their new version of Alice in Wonderland.

We've seen most of the characters in previous ads and promos, but today, a special full length poster was released featuring Johnny Depp and one character yet to be seen.

It's the Caterpillar, played by Alan Rickman!

Oh the wonders of CGI.

Johnny Depp!

Really?!

Now, don't get us wrong! We are a firm believer in the seksi that is Johnny Depp, but we thought R-Patz had it in the bag for 2009.

Depp, who is now a repeat honoree, is one hawt poppa, family man, franchise star and an all-around interesting guy who always opts for the unconventional. So much so that he probably doesn't care about being the Sexiest Man Alive!

Do U think the the honor is befitting?!

According to a poll conducted by Britain's Glamour magazine, Robert Pattinson took the cake for sexiest man!

Other seksi men trailing behind were Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and Hugh Jackman! All of which have held the elusive title of People's Sexiest Man Alive!!

The mag better follow through! It's RPatz's turn!

What a good friend!

Johnny Depp has reportedly reached out to old pal Nicolas Cage to help him with his giant debt!

A source reveals:

"Johnny called Nic and basically told him not to worry and he'd help him and sort everything out. Johnny feels he owes his career to Nic and now wants to repay him — if Nic agrees."

The world actually owes Nic for introducing Johnny Depp to the world of acting thus letting us all appreciate his hotness!

Johnny was just a struggling musician when he met Nic back in the '80s. Nic set up a meeting with his agent for Johnny and that's how he landed his role on Nightmare on Elm Street!

The source also says that "Johnny has never forgotten what Nic did for him."

How sweet and generous of Johnny!

But will Nic swallow his pride and accept the gift? He should if he knows what's good for him!

Amazeballs!

Johnny Depp is reportedly in talks to star in The Tourist with….. - wait for it - …… Angelina Jolie!!!!

Umm, we say yes!

Slated to start production in February, Depp would play an American tourist drawn to Santa Angelina who would play an Interpol agent attempting to locate a criminal who was once her lover.

Sounds like a perfect roll for her!

We hope this happens and we're sure Sony does too because these two mega-stars on screen at the same time means serious box office ca$$$h.

Do U want to see Johnny and Angie in a film together???

This cannot be serious!

Star Magazine is reporting that New Line Cinema is in talks to produce a film version of the saga that is Jon and Kate Gosselin's rise and fall.

And get this! A source reveals: "Ideally they'd like Cameron Diaz for Kate and Johnny Depp for Jon."

You have GOT be kidding us! As if either of those A-listers would want anything to do with this steaming pile of shiz!

This is much more suited to the Lifetime network, so give Dean Cain and Tiffani-Amber Theissen a call perhaps?

Or maybe Kate will want to play herself?

Not only is Johnny Depp a great actor, but he's also passionate about music.

Depp has teamed up with band Babybird to appear on their new album.

Johnny even connected Babybird's frontman, Stephen Jones, with top producers.

A rep for the band reveals that “Grammy nominated producers Bruce Witkin & Ryan Dorn, were introduced to Jones by long-time Babybird fan Johnny Depp, who makes a cameo appearance on the new recording.”

The band's most famous "hit" is their 1996 song You're Gorgeous.

But with Depp's help on their new album, we're guessing it might do a bit better!

We mentioned earlier this month that the departure of longtime Disney chairman and friend of Johnny Depp, Dick Cook, left the actor unsure of his future with the Pirates franchise.

He is already signed up for the the next installment, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, but the studio had planned to forge ahead with a 5th and 6th installment as well. However, there is talk that Johnny won't be returning to the franchise and it is safe to say that without Johnny, any other movies would abandon ship.

Except they're not. Buzz is that the Disney execs are planning at least another two Pirates movies, with or without Johnny.

Can you say STOOPID?!

The idea is to continue making the flicks with different pirate characters with big actor names to back them. Some of the names being tossed around are James Franco, Ryan Gosling, and Robert Pattinson.

As much as we would love to see R-Patz be dirty for a film, we really don't see anyone being able to fill the shoes left by Jack Sparrow. Without him, Disney should give up on trying to squeeze money out of audiences and focus on new films/franchises for the company.
