Kate Bosworth continues her recent media blitz by appearing in the November issue of LA Confidential.
The Big Sur star shows off her figure in a blush-colored Jason Wu crop top and matching skirt on the mag's cover, and lounges around in a $22,000 Chanel dress on a slanted gray rooftop overlooking El Lay.
The actress also recalls her father's role in cultivating her love for fashion. As an employee at retailers like Ermenegildo Zegna and Talbot's, her father often took a young Kate to work with him.
The 30-year-old said:
Kate Bosworth and hubby Michael Polish made for an inseparable twosome as they ventured out to Topshop in NYC on Monday.
Before slipping into her bejeweled gown, the Big Sur actress looked cozy in her Topshop collection's cream leather sweater and matching colored coat.
Worn over dark skinnies and buckled, black ankle boots, Kate carried a heart print Burberry purse for a sweet touch!
When it came to Michael's outfit, he was the perfect complement to his wife in a wool coat, dark skinnies, buckled black boots and a smile that just screamed "I'm in love and I don't care who knows it"!
Cue the awws!

At last! Big Sur hits the big city!
After attending a seemingly infinite amount of screenings, Kate Bosworth and hubby Michael Polish's labor of love finally had its major NYC premiere on Monday night!
It's almost been a year since the movie debuted during the Sundance Film Festival!
For the truly exciting moment, Kate delivered in a black Christopher Kane gown with beautiful bejeweled flowers along the neckline and waist.
More sparkle was added to the ensem in the form of branch-like Ana Khouri earrings, while a pair of black Casadei pumps balanced out all the bling.
We hope there's an El Lay premiere coming soon!

When your director's also your husband, you get to do promo together!
Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish were spotted heading on over to The Today Show in NYC on Monday morning to talk about their movie Big Sur, which will finally open in limited release on November 1!
The newlyweds arrived hand in hand, looking cozy all bundled up in thick wool coats. Aww!
Kate's tweed number hid a royal blue pleated Alexander McQueen dress with cap sleeves, which matched her grayish blue leather shoulder bag and complemented her light gray Jimmy Choo suede pumps!
It was all very chic, but we're surprised she didn't wear any pieces from her Topshop collection.
We would wear it all the time if we were her!

Kate Bosworth joined Eva Mendes at Lucky magazine’s two-day east coast Fashion and Beauty Blog Conference in New York City on Thursday.
The mag’s November cover girl came dressed in a Topshop cream leather sweater and metallic skirt with asymmetrical hem, both from her own collection.
With Kate’s eccentric Stella McCartney pumps and her beachy waves completing her look, she was the epitome of a style maven!
Simple and modern. Could we ask for anything else?

We can't quite decide if it's good or bad for an actress to have her husband direct her in a commercial.
On the one hand, he'll make sure she looks good. But on the other, his vision might clash with hers.
Kate Bosworth's already worked on the Big Sur movie set with her director hubby Michael Polish, so we're sure shooting this commercial for her winter collection (her second!) with Topshop was a walk in the park!
Though we have no idea why her hair is soaking wet, we do like what we see — especially all the crinkled foil-looking tops! So wackily wonderful!
But do Kate and Michael make beautiful fashion ad babies together? You'll have to PRESS PLAY (above) to find out!
Also, ch-ch-check out pics of all the clothes in the gallery (below)!
Pretty as a rose petal!
Kate Bosworth was a blushing beauty at the Big Sur screening during the Carmel Film Festival on Sunday, wearing a delicate Christian Dior dress.
The sweet frock featured a criss-crossed satin bodice and ivory skirt that hit just above the knee.
While Kate's soft features and dewy makeup perfectly complimented the dress, her black suede pumps unfortunately clashed against the elegant ensem.
An odd choice of footwear for someone who usually gets it right. But, hey, you can't win 'em all!
