Desperation is so unbecoming!

An insider reveals to Chicago's Sun Times that Lance Armstrong dumped Kate Hudson's sorry ass because he was feeling a bit ”smothered” by the blonde bimbo.

A pal of Armstrong's tells the paper:

…the sports hero felt Hudson was ”just too needy,” and was coming on ''too strong, too fast … sensing Kate was way too desperate, a woman who clearly can't be on her own without a man in her life at all times.”

The Times went on to point out that Lance may have a point:

Hudson always seems to escalate her relationships quickly — even turning things into familylike outings with her son Ryder ever-present, as he has been with Armstrong and with Hudson's last flame, Owen Wilson.

The source added that one thing Armstrong reportedly liked about ex-girlfriend Sheryl Crow — and one reason that relationship lasted as long as it did — was that ”Sheryl's one very independent woman.

Yikes!

But, some guys do like 'needy'.

Hope Kate finds a better match. We're sure it won't take her a long time!

She's a maneater!

Kate Hudson's wasted no time in finding new companionship.

As PerezHilton.com was the first to exclusively report, the actress and Lance Armstrong just ended their relationship.

Well, she's allegedly got herself a new man. And, it's actually an old man!

A source reveals exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Hudson may once again be seeing an ex-boyfriend of hers, a fella by the name of Eric Lindros.

"Kate and Eric have been holed up at her parent's [Goldie & Kurt's] house Muskoka, Canada," a well-placed insider tells us. "She went there immediately after she and Lance ended things."

Dating your own sloppy seconds? Tasty!

Update: Hudson's camp is denying the claim that anything romantical is going on with Eric Lindros (or his brother Brett, for that matter).

Kate's pals insist she and the Lindros' are just long-time friends.

Kate Hudson has landed a highly coveted role in the film remake of the Broadway hit Nine.

Lance's girl joins a cast that already includes Oscar winners Daniel Day Lewis and Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz and Marion Cotillard.

Romantic comedy Kate has her work cut out for her!

Hope her acting chops can stand up to those mega thespians.

And on top of that…she has to sing?

It looks like some people can stay friendly after a divorce. Sort of like Demi Moore and Bruce Willis. Though that's probably a little too friendly.

As for Kate Hudson, she has no ill feelings towards ex-hubby and daddy of her baby, Chris Robinson.

Kate, her ex Chris, and her new beau Lance Armstrong shared some time together Wednesday morning at the Los Angeles Palisades Tennis Center.

The parents have been taking their kids to youth tennis camp at the center all week long.

Hudson and Robinson take their son Ryder, who's 4, and Armstrong takes his 8 year old son, and 6 year old twin daughters.

A source on site says about Robinson and Armstrong, "They're like one big happy family. They were just like two guys hanging out being totally cool with each other. If you didn't know the backstory, you would think they were just good pals."

Glad to see some people can act civil when it comes to the kids.

Are we seeing a Demi Moore and Bruce Willis trend here?

Kate Hudson took her four year-old son to a Father's Day brunch with his daddy, rocker Chris Robinson, on Sunday.

Also in attendance was Kate's new beau, former cyclist Lance Armstrong.

The parents and all their kids went to brunch at New York's Frankie's 457. Lance took his 8 year old son and 6 year old twin daughters along.

An insider says, "There was a boys' cab and a girls' cab. Ryder went with Lance. He was very comfortable with Lance. He ran right towards him! They were corralling all these kids together. It was really about the kids. They all celebrated Father's Day together."

Shortly after Kate and Lance arrived with the kids, Chris showed up with his girlfriend as well.

Everyone dined for about two hours and then departed from the awkward situation.

Why do they have to be so damn mature?

We want the drama!
