What's the deal,Lily Allen? Why are you trying to brain fuck us?
You remember when Lily went on a big tirade about how it was awful to download music illegally and got mad at legitimate artists like Radiohead for indulging their fans in file sharing?
Now, she says that if you want to sell her music without her permission, she doesn't care!
When asked about her stance on illegal file sharing, she replied:
"If someone comes up with a burnt copy of my CD and offers it to you for £4, I haven’t a problem with that as long as the person buying it places some kind do of value on my music.”
She does realize she won't see any of that money right? Or have the drugs messed with her head so much, she doesn't understand how these illegal transactions work? Or maybe she is just a hypocrite?
Joss Stone must be in some need to promote her latest shiteous album, because she's taken to insultingLily Allen publicly.
According to Joss, Lily's making a big stink about people illegally downloading music because she's not a real singer. Seriously.
Says Stone:
"She needs to sell records because she's not a singer, and that's not an offence to her because I think that she knows that too. I think she's a performer and she's more of a personality than she is a singer. But I think when musicians are really making real music people come to the show and that's what we make our money from, from playing live.
I think it's probably harder for an artist like Lily and any other pop acts. It's really about the track and about their personality and their celebrity and that's how they make their money is selling those records.
So the downloads - she's not going to win that fight. None of us will win that fight. So let's just accept it and let's see it as something that can be beautiful and it might change music for the better. It might sort the weeds from the flowers."
Zac, the webmaster of Oh-Lily.com, blogged about his experience trying to give Lily a lovingly homemade fan book before her concert in Amsterdam.
He says:
"Finally, we spotted Lily walking towards the entrance. So naturally, i walked towards her trying to hand her the fanbook. Right off the bat, one security guy walked up to us and said that we had to stop there. When i tried to reach out and say: 'Lily, i just wanna give this to you!' she kept walking, and said: 'Im sorry, i have to go in!'. She never even looked at us once, and she looked really bothered by the fact that we were there. I understand that because she was late that she had to go to soundcheck or whatever, but it probably wouldn’t even have taken her 10 seconds to just accept the book. So, ofcourse i was upset that i wasn’t able to give her the fanbook."
Not cool, Lily!
But Zac was persistent and tried again during her concert:
"…She was standing right in front of me, so i threw the book out ON the stage, next to a speaker. She must have known the book was there, cause it was right in her walking path. She didn’t take the book with her, and at one point even (accidentally, i think) stepped on it…The whole point of this book was to give Lily a suprise from her fans. No other fansite has done it for her, and it contained dozens of messages from people all around the world who just adore her. It was supposed to be something that would make her smile, but she never even looked at it once."
Despite Lily being a huge bitch, Zac raves on his blog about her performance and even holds out hope that she eventually received the book sending out a plea to Lily:
"So Lily, if you’re reading this, please send me an email at OhLilyCom@gmail.com, a tweet at OhLilyDotCom, or post something ANYWHERE to let me know you got the book. It would make me a feel so much better to know that the hard work i’ve put into the book didn’t go to waste."
We hate to break it to you bb, but we're about 99.9% sure she didn't get it.
She doesn't care about her music career anymore, which unfortunately means she probably doesn't give a shiz about her fans.
Shame on you, Lily! You should embrace the people that actually like you!
Finally, Lily Allen and Miley Cyrus have someting in common. (Though we gather there won't be as much of a fuss.)
Lily Allen has decided to leave the Twitterverse for good. Her last tweet is dated September 28, and reads: "I am a neo-luddite, goodbye." Lily is playing with the word neo-luddism, which is a personal philosophy against technology.
It seems she has really decided to commit to the idea. Sources say that along with quitting Twitter, Lily has also given up on her MySpace, email and it has been suggested that she has even given away her Macbook and BlackBerry!
Insanity!!!
We're not sure what prompted this move back to the stone age, but like Miley before her, some are suggesting the decision was based off her relationship with BF, Sam Cooper. Seems Twitter was putting a wedge between them that Lily just couldn't handle anymore.
A friend of hers confirms: "Sam was fed up. He told Lily: 'It's me or Twitter.' And she chose him."
What is with celebrity boyfriends hating on social networks? Get over yourselves, fellas!
At any rate, R.I.P Silly's Twitter. We'll miss the last night, drunken, 140 character bits of joy you used to supply us with.
Celebs are dropping like flies off Twitter. Who will be next?
Ronson, who produced Allen's 2006 album, Alright, Still, says that his "creative relationship" with Lily is dunzo, and he "can't go back to working with [her]."
Wonder if Silly's hard-pAArtying antics had anything to do with the split???
We'd bet on it!
No one wants to work with a sloppy, drunken mess!
No wonder Allen is quitting the biz - no one can stand to work with her!
Looks like Lily Allen thinks she's found "the one" with her new boyfriend, some builder named Sam Cooper.
In fact, the British trainwreck is even ready to move in with her beau who she started dating earlier this year.
Sources claim the two have been looking at properties in London recently.
With one inside source revealing, “They have made enquiries about several terraced properties in Primrose Hill in London and it’s thought that as well as acting in 2010, one of the investment areas Lily’s looking at moving into is property.”
The source goes on to add that “Sam’s brilliant at planning and design so it makes sense for him to advise on any business ventures. They’re so into each other, it’s very sweet.”
As for Allen, she seems tired of show business.
She's said, "People think I'm this super-confident person who's all for female empowerment but it's not true. I have every intention of becoming a suburban mum. I want to get married and have children. Being followed by the paparazzi is not a life I want."
