It's obvious that BRAVO's Real Housewives franchise has become a juggernaut in its own right. All the ladies associated with the shows have gone on to do a multitude of things, from skin care lines to cookbooks to extraordinary dance singles!

So its not very shocking that Star Magazine is reporting that when the network started looking for the cast for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, more than 500 women showed up to the auditions.

What is surprising is how many big names were cut from the series. Granted, we're not talking Angelina Jolie here, but still, these women have some star power in their own way.

Some of the reported ladies axed from the reality show roster were Lisa Rinna, Marla Maples, Shawn King and Alana Stewart!

Wow! Just that lineup alone would have made for some interesting television!

Lisa, invite the rest of them onto your show! We want to see what could have been!

Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin were on hand Saturday in Santa Monica as Lucy and Desi for the annual Dream Halloween benefit for he Children Affected by Aids Foundation.

Leave it to Lisa to ham it up for the cameras!

It looks as though Lisa Rinna and Star Jones may not be getting along so well on the set of The Celebrity Apprentice, because check out (above) the picture the actress uploaded to Twitter with the following caption:

Me and Star Jones sans make up.

Ouchie!

We wonder what's been going down between these two!

Lisa Rinna is busy promoting her new book, Starlit, and while doing so has been able to show off her brand new lips - which she reportedly had reduced in August!

She explains:

"I did it because I no longer wanted my lip to define me. I had never thought that you could do anything about it, and I found out there is something you can do. I had no idea you could reduce it, so I was like, 'Yes! Let’s do it.'"

She's frequently spoken out in the past about how unhappy she was with the way her lips looked, so we're glad that she finally had the opportunity to do something about it!

Absolutely disgusting, and what's even worse is how commonplace this is in the industry.

Lisa Rinna recently revealed that when she was starting out in Hollywood, she was put in an absolutely horrible position by a producer while auditioning for an unnamed TV show!

She explains:

"I lost a role on a BIG TV series because I wouldn't bend over a chair in a producers office for 'just a quickie.' 'Just pull your panties down and bend over and the role is yours,' he said to me."

Rinna, who was 24 at the time, walked away from the role and apparently has refused to out deplorable producer in question, but according to a friend, the actress ran into the scumbag while she was on Melrose Place, and when he stopped to congratulate her, she told him, "I know everyone in this town and if you ever do what you did to me again to anyone else I will tell everyone your dirty secret."

Good! We give her a lot of credit for standing up to him the way that she did!

It's awful to think that so many people would exploit the position of power that they're in and use it to take advantage of young people, desperate for their big break!

Hopefully this unrevealed man took her warning to heart, and works with a little more integrity now!

Of course SHE does!

Lisa Rinna said of Kate Hudson's rumored boob job, "I think everyone needs to do whatever they need to do to make themselves feel good. And it's nobody's business!"

When asked why everyone is so obsessed with plastic surgery these days, Lisa responded:

"I couldn't tell you. I have no comment to that."

Seriously?! You LOOK like you'd be the authority on that!

CBS is attempting to pitch a knock-off version of The View, only with a group of has-beens better suited for promotional appearances at their local Walgreen's !

That's right, the network has apparently recruited Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Lisa Rinna, and that awful hack Bethenny Frankel to dish their useless, desperate opinions on anything and everything under the sun!

BARF.

A source says:

"It's a daytime panel show to take on 'The View,' targeted at women with children and hosted by celebrities, journalists and regular moms. A pilot will be shot in early May."

Yeah. Good luck with this one, CBS.
