It seems like everybody is coming to Ronda Rousey's defense!
First, Holly Holm defended her opponent from the celeb haters, and now Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is getting in on the act, too — making him a very unlikely ally for Rousey considering their very public feud recently!
In comments on Monday after Rousey's surprising knockout loss over the weekend, Floyd denied gloating about the female MMA star's defeat, and told Fight Hype:
Now this is good sportsmanship!
Holm talked to TMZ Sports about wanting haters to back away from the fallen legend, saying:
"I think people can be pretty brutal, and when you're in the spot she's in, there are people that are just going to jump ship and I don't ever wish for that. I have a lot of respect for her."
The new champ also had very high praise for her opponent:
Are you still reeling from the major upset at UFC 193?!
Ronda Rousey sure is — and the previously undefeated star MMA fighter is now figuring out her next move after having lost to Holly Holm in a shocking second-round knockout on Saturday night.
She calmed down fans worried over her health and revealed her plans moving forward:
This was shocking!
It didn't seem like anybody could possibly defeat Ronda Rousey, but Holly Holm proved EVERYONE wrong with a huge second-round knockout at UFC 193 on Saturday night, upsetting Rousey and shocking the world!
Things got messy even before the fight, when Rousey and Holm went to the weigh-in and nearly started throwing punches in front of all the media members there to take pictures:
We wouldn't wanna be on her bad side!
In a recent interview with Maxim, the Bantamweight champ admits that she already knows who she's voting for in 2016… and it isn't Hillary Clinton!
While talking about her political views on Tuesday, Ronda confirmed her support for one Presidential hopeful, saying:
Oo la la!
Rumors circulated over the summer about a potential relationship between Glendale Fighting Club teammates Ronda Rousey and Travis Browne — and now we know it's official! Well, at least that's what he's saying!
