Among the guests in attendance were Tommy Lee, Wilmer Valderrama and Nick's brother, Drew.

Nick Lachey is auctioning himself off for charity. We kind of pity the charity. Was no one better available?

The highest bidder in an auction benefiting VH1 Save The Music Foundation will win 2 round-trip Jet Blue tickets to El Lay, a stay at a luxury hotel for an evening, a $500 shopping spree at Club Monaco, a gift bag from MyWorkButterfly.com, and the main event, dinner with Nick.

Unless VH1 is footing the bill for dinner, we hope you like El Pollo Loco. That's about all he can afford wethinks.

Since losing her beloved dog Daisy last week, friends are concerned about Jessica Simpson.

"Daisy was her baby," a source claims. "It's going to put her into a tailspin. It will put her into the worst place ever."

She was inseparable with Daisy, whom she received as a present from then-husband Nick Lachey in 2004.

"She won't leave her parents' house," claims another. "Whenever things went wrong for Jessica, she reached for Daisy. She was her security blanket. When people let her down, she always had Daisy."

Simpson finally left when best bud Ken Paves picked her up for dinner, but it didn't do much!

"Jessica seemed okay, but wasn't smiling much," said an onlooker. "The wine made her relax a bit, but it was still obvious that she was having a devastating week."

And, rumor has it, she was bat-shit crazy with that dog!

Simpleton fed her Daisy steak instead of dog food and referred to herself as "Daisy's Mommy." When she left the house, she left the air conditioner on for the dog, refused visitors to not wake Daisy (in the event that she was sick) and threw her elaborate birthday parties.

It gets worse!

When Jessica was away for the night, she called home and had "someone put Daisy on the phone so she could say goodnight."

Really?!

"Daisy ran the household," a friend said. "If Daisy didn’t like you, you were gone. Sometimes if her regular hair and makeup people weren’t available and Jessica had a sit-in, if Daisy didn’t like them, they wouldn’t be back. Daisy ran the roost."

Wowsa!

"Jessica has a very small inner circle. But she always had Daisy. Daisy gave her unconditional love," divulged a friend. "Daisy never betrayed her. Daisy was always there for her. This is serious. Jessica’s heart is broken."

When she was having relationship problems, Jess "would cry herself to sleep at night, using Daisy as a pillow."

But this behavior is not out of character!

"Jessica is very needy. She is very clingy," the friend continued. "She is so sweet, but sometimes because of that she's hard to be around. It's not always easy. She hates to be alone. That's what happened with Tony [Romo]. Jessica smothers people. She doesn't really have any hobbies. Daisy was exactly what Jessica needed."

This is just sad!

These two are probably LOVING the attention!

According to Life and Style, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo were seen out together on Wednesday night at McFadden's Restaurant and Saloon in New York.

Nick and Vanessa, who split back in June after 3 years together, were said to be "laid-back" and "very friendly to the staff and fellow patrons."

The two of them then headed out together at 9 p.m.

Is anyone remotely surprised?

These two have been seen making out all over the place the past few weeks!

We guess they couldn't find anybody else so they've settled for each other…again!

This gruesome twosome just can't quit one another!

Exes Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo were spotted making out at LA watering hole The Dime!!

Eeewwww.

Lachey and Minnillo had split earlier this summer after a 3-year-long romance, but we think it's safe to say these two are back on!

A spy in the bar recalls Lachey and Minnillo's PDA sesh: "They were making-out in one of the booths and seemed totally into one another. They were having a great time and definitely appeared to be back on. They didn't care who saw them."

Witnesses say the two were only in the bar with friends for 20 minutes before Minnillo crawled into Lachey's lap and the two started kissing.

Keep it in the bedroom!

No one wants to see that!!

Though some might think Nick Lachey isn't in the market for a new lady love right now, we happen to think there is no one willing to take him!

While at a club with friends on Tuesday, Nick's pals tried to help the former Mr. Jessica Simpson score, but they had little luck.

A witness recalls: "His friends kept trying to dance with girls and bring them over, but most didn't seem interested. He ended up leaving by himself."

Burn!

Smart girls can spot a tool from a mile away, dude! You need yourself a very pretty, airhead. You remember how to pick one of those up, right?

Turns out Nick Lachey's latest gal pal has been around the block a couple of times!

35-year-old Lachey was spotted with 23-year-old former University of Louisiana student Holly Letchworth in Sherman Oaks on Sunday night.

Holly must be turned on by famous peen!!

Friends of Letchworth revealed to reporters that their friend recently dated Jesse McCartney!!!!!

Work it, gurl.

According to her pals, Letchworth is a recent LA transplant who left Louisiana behind after her boyfriend dumped her and the bar she worked at burned down!

Holly now spends her time "wearing trendy outfits" and "having fun hitting bars" while adjusting to the LA lifestyle.

How original!

Letchworth's friends say she loves Los Angeles and was gushing over living in California on a recent trip home, but she is in no way looking to get serious with anyone. Although they wouldn't oppose Holly gettin' serious with Lachey because "he seems like he is a good guy."

Such standards!

But if being photographed with a D-lister isn't the best way to give the middle finger to your ex-boyfriend, we don't know what is!
