Named after Marilyn Monroe, the Monroe is a chic military-style boot that features faux black snakeskin and buckled straps.

She's come a long way from only wondering whether or not her clothes impress Nick Lachey!

Jessica Simpson tells Elle she's very considerate of others when she looks through her closet.

More details are slowly being fed to the press coming out about Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo's secret wedding last week.

Since we already know what they wore the only important thing left is their rings!

To compliment the bride's 4 carat Asscher-cut engagement ring, Nick and Vanessa went back to New York jeweler Bader & Garrin to design their custom wedding bands.

Mrs. Lachey ended up getting a platinum eternity band with even more Asscher-cut diamonds, while her hubby splurged on a more masculine version with 24 square diamonds.

Vanessa Minnillo is the newest Mrs. Nick Lachey after tying the knot to her longtime beau in an intimate ceremony of Friday.

For her big day, the former MTV VJ wore a two-piece Monique Lhuillier gown with a crystal and rose embellished lace corset and hand tufted skirt.

As for the groom, Nick went with a Dolce & Gabbana suit.

Lucky for us it won't be long before we see the dress because the whole wedding was filmed for a special set to air on TLC next week.

Although no definite date has yet been set, one thing is taken care of — Vanessa Minnillo’s wedding dress.

The future Mrs. Nick Lachey will be wearing a dress by Monique Lhuillier on her special day.

An insider reveals:

“Since Vanessa picked up her wedding dress, this obviously means the wedding is coming up soon. It will definitely be before the fall — probably in August."

As for the wedding, turns out it might not be local. Adds the source:

"It will most likely be a destination wedding. They're going to take one more vacation together before the wedding, and it's likely to scout the actual location of their nuptials."

In case you haven't heard the perfectly timed news, Jessica Simpson is engaged to her freshly divorced boyfriend Eric Johnson!

Engagement ring #2 is way different from the 3-stone diamond engagement ring Nick Lachey popped the question with.

According to reports, the future Mrs. Johnson is sporting a vintage Neil Lane 4-carat, oval shaped ruby with two 2 carat diamonds on either side.

The price tag? An estimated $100,000.

On Friday night, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo also attended the Barnstable Brown Gala in Louisville, Kentucky.

And aside from being surprised that these two are still together, we're even more surprised that Minnillo didn't look half bad wearing her white evening gown.

Unfortunately, she did live up to our expectations the following day sporting some hideous large hat adorned with tacky flowers and all.

As for Lachey, he kept it simple and classic both nights.

At least one of them managed to look good the entire weekend.
