Whoa…that pooch is almost bigger than his mama!

Nicole Richie enjoyed a doggie day with her big boy as she strolled in Sunset Towers.

Iro seems ready to start the day, but we're not so sure about Nicole!

Nicole Richie is an absolutely gorgeous lady.

So we're stuck trying to figure out what she has in common with an elephant!

She is apparently in love with elephants, so of course she had a great time when she got to get up close to one recently.

She tweeted a pic (above) and wrote:

Awww…whatsa matter, Harlow?!

Nicole Richie's eldest child is not a fan of the family's new German Shepherd.

The fashionista stopped by Ellen to chat up the host and Nicole told Ellen that while her son, Sparrow, LUHVs his new 18 month old puppy, Harlow….not so much.

Nicole states:

This is our first family pet. He's a great dog. I've only had him about a week but he's so sweet.

[Harlow] did not want a dog. She's very delicate.

She doesn't like anything disturbing her space. Delicate would be the best way to put it.

Nicole also admitted that while she adores his little man, Ero, and likes to snuggle, she won't be picking up after him…at all!

With two kids, we can see why!

There's nothing quite like a zoo day with the fam!

Nicole Richie flew down to the land of Oz and enjoyed a family day at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney.

Pussy Problems.

Designer and self-declared "huge pet person," Nicole Richie, couldn't resist taking in a stray cat called Tabby (full name: Tabitha Jones Madden) when the feline began hanging around her LA-based home last summer.

The only problem with the newest addition to the family was that she was bringing along the whole neighborhood at dinner time. Nick said:

"I think cats have big mouths. She spread the word and then came back with a black cat and an orange cat. I was like, 'Oh, no, no, no — this isn't happening!' So then I stopped [feeding them all], and then she started coming back [alone]."

We're glad she got that taken care of. Though, we can't imagine the cats in Beverly Hills are all that dangerous.

Stylish mom Nicole Richie was spotted with her daughter Harlow and her little pal shopping Petco.

The group picked up some supplies after taking a peek at the animals on Monday.

Nicole was pobs paying a visit to the store to grab some kitty mouthwash since she did tweet to the feline early Monday morning, writing:

“Dear Gypsy my cat, stop trying to kiss me with your morning breath, desperate.”

We're sure a cat owned by Nicole is anything but desperate.
