New besties? They could do some real damage together!

First, Nicole Richie went to the Met Gala in all her punk glory, then Rihanna commented on the effect Nicole's outfit had on her gag reflex.

NOW, Nicole's responded to RiRi's vomit comment, and she ain't even mad!

Princess RiRi's sick compliment actually had the Fashion Star mentor feeling all glow-y. Nicole tweeted:

Awww! These two should dress up and hit the town ASAP! We're sure it would be a puking good time! Ha!

The Met Gala came and went in a whirlwind of fashion activity on Monday night!

We had the good and the bad, but we also had some conspicuous trends.

That quintessential punk staple — the safety pin — found its way onto Carey Mulligan's dress and Zooey Deschanel's clutch.

Paloma Faith, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Katy Perry rocked the headpieces, which was a golden crown in Katy's case!

Paloma also got on the gloved-sleeve trend along with Kim Kardashian, Beyonce and Kerry Washington.

Jessica Alba, Nicole Richie, Cara Delevingne and January Jones were all rocking some major ear bling and cuffs while Jessica Biel and Karen Elson opted for small little septum rings.

Quite a few lovely ladies showed off the fruits of their workout regimes in belly-baring numbers, like Gwen Stefani, Olivia Wilde, Nicki Minaj, and Miranda Kerr.

Then there were the rebels, like Anna Wintour and new bestie Kimmy, who wore very non-punk floral gowns.

Maybe they were the most punk of all! LOLz!

We think we know why Rihanna was 3 hours late to her concert in Boston last night!

She was throwing up after seeing a white-haired Nicole Richie arrive at the Met Gala!

But don't worry, it was a purge of pure joy.

In other words, Nicole should be flattered, not offended, that her look made Rihanna hurl. It's also probably one of the only times she'll see her name with "best dressed" and "Met Gala" in the same sentence this year, so she's got that going for her too.

As of this morning, Richie's yet to respond to RiRi's compliment, but when she does we're sure it'll be a zinger.

Nicole Richie went a little too far with her punk commitment at the Met Gala in a white, floral embroidered Topshop gown and gray hair.

Perhaps someone has been treating her little ones to Disney movie marathons. Her 'do was clearly inspired by Hades's hair from Disney's Hercules.

Oh, and the tan…not a good idea. Not a good idea at all.

Anna Wintour?

No, wait, that's Nicole Richie.

The 31-year-old was STILL rocking that ill-advised bowl cut at the uber exclusive Balmain dinner held in West Hollywood on Thursday night.

Naturally, she wore an ornate, sculptural Balmain number featuring power shoulders and basketweave panels on the sleeves, bust, and crotchal region.

She also wore flesh-colored undergarments, but they were still visible through the little openings in the panels.

And as her old friend Paris Hilton would say, "THAT'S HOT!"

Why!?

Nicole Richie was rocking the bowl cut like it was still in style last night at the AOL Digital Content NewFront event in NYC.

Bad haircut aside, Nicole did look from the neck down as she promoted her new web show Candidly Nicole in a long-sleeved white Saint Laurent dress and white Manolo Blahnik pumps.

And that bronze St. Barts tan is still going strong!

We just hope this 'do (or should we say don't!?) grows out quickly! We're not sure we can handle all the bad '80s flashbacks it's giving us!

Sexual!!!

Putting double-stick tape to good use, Nicole Richie arrived for a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live! in Hollywood on Tuesday.

The Fashion Star mentor looked SMOKIN' in a black Emilio Pucci jumpsuit featuring a cummerbund and mesh panels along the bodice. Cleavage! Side-boob! No panties! Yay!

The outfit was further enhanced by Christian Louboutin pumps, a chain House of Harlow 1960 clutch, smokey eye makeup, and a textured updo.

We'd love to find a flaw, but we just CAN'T!
