Pink feels very strongly about keeping the privacy of her newborn baby in tact.
In fact, she just released a lengthy letter on her website explaining why she and her baby daddy feel this way, and it makes a lot of sense. They decided to release photos of the little one on their own, to a publication of their choosing, and will donate the money they get from selling the images to help those in need!
Such a great idea, plus then the world gets a glimpse of the kiddo! Not only that, but having seen the newborn, the new family hopes that it'll lessen the frenzy over trying to get a pic.
Sounds like a tough idea with how crafty the paps can be, but we're willing to bet that they can pull this off.
Here's what she said in the letter, placing a lot of the blame for being hounded squarely on those who buy the magazines to see the pictures:

P!nk and her husband, Carey Hart, were spotted with their newborn daughter, Willow Sage, strolling around their neighborhood in Malibu during the holiday yesterday, having what looks like a low-key celebration and enjoying the beautiful weather!

Things have definitely changed in Pink's life since she had her baby a few weeks ago, and nobody knows it more than she does!
She loves it though, regardless of how much she misses the lack of responsibility:
“My life was once whiskey, tears, and cigarettes … now it’s snot, tears, and the color of poop. #bliss"
Ha! We definitely like how "tears" shows up in both lists, but they're from completely different sources!

Pink and Carey Hart are wasting no time in introducing their new baby girl to this big beautiful world!
The new parents were spotted taking infant Willow Sage on a hike down the beach yesterday. 5-day-old Willow was swaddled in a blanket as her momma led the way down the sandy shore, enjoying the sunshine and the company of her little family.
Precious! Guess this means we will be seeing a lot of the three of you in the weeks to come! Wonderful!
