Raven Symoné is no stranger to controversial comments, or sparking public outrage…
So when the 29-year-old landed herself in hot water with Beyoncé's legion of fans, we weren't all that surprised!
On Monday evening, girlfriend went out with a couple of friends to watch Lil' Kim perform — and Raven went a little too far on her praise for the rapper.
She posted a picture of the two of them on Instagram and wrote:

Well, the actress had a different take on the situation. Co-host Rosie Perez was adamant that it was a racist comment made, asserting that there is racism against black people in the Hispanic community.
However, Raven didn't see it that way. She said:
As their on-screen model counterparts from Zoolander?!
How could you not, it was the best thing to have happened all week!
Anyway, one Viner was lucky enough to nab a seat by the runway and the rest was history or like, you know, four seconds long. LOLz!

RS has been blonde for awhile, usually styling her short hair in a pompadour.

As part of the OWN documentary Light Girls, Raven-Symoné opened up about her skin color and the fact that she used to tan to make herself darker!
According to the That's So Raven star, she used to go to the tanning bed 3-4 times A WEEK so that she would be dark enough to play the title character!
But she's not the only actress who wanted to have darker skin to keep (or nab) roles in Hollywood!
