Barbra Streisand is heading back to the silver screen!

Judd Apatow prodigy Seth Rogen is currently in the development stages of a film starring himself and Babs called Mother's Curse!!

Little has been said about the Rogen/Streisand flick, with even Rogen himself stating Mother's Curse is "one of the many projects I may or may not do in the next fifteen years," but Dreamworks exec turned Paramound big wig Adam Goldman has reportedly taken the comedy on as a "pet project."

We can't wait!

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences issued 134 invitations to become voting members on Tuesday.

Invitees include Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, James Franco, Michelle Williams, Seth Rogan, Paul Rudd and Michael Cera.

"These filmmakers have, over the course of their careers, captured the imagination of audiences around the world," said Academy president Sid Ganis. "It's this kind of talent and creativity that make up the Academy, and I welcome each of them to our ranks."

As we've mentioned before, funnyman Seth Rogen has been losing weight and getting in shape.

And it's really paying off!

Rogen, who's currently prepping for his lead role in the Green Hornet film, spoke out about his decision for dropping the weight during a recent interview.

Seth reveals he decided it was time to shed the fat before he even started shooting for his latest flick.

Apparently while he was filming in New Mexico for Observe and Report, that's when he realized he needed to improve his health.

Seth claims "I'm somebody who can barely breathe in Los Angeles, which is at sea level. I can't walk up a flight of stairs. Albuquerque is at an elevation of about two miles and the air is very thin. There were some big action scenes. Every day it felt as if I were climbing Everest. So the stunts were really hard, much harder than they should have been. I realized if I was going to make Green Hornet I needed to lose weight."

But Seth didn't do it just to look hot. He says, "Aside from how the character is supposed to look, I couldn't physically make the movie in the shape I was in. It would have literally killed me."

We're sure what he really meant was "I lost the weight to get laid!"

Either way, keep up the good work. We want to see that sexy six pack by the end of the year!

Wow, Seth Rogen is getting hotter by the day!

The actor has been getting in shape for his role in the new Green Hornet film.

The former chubster was spotted on Tuesday star leaving a Starbucks in West Hollywood.

We're sure that's either tea or a skinny latte he's drinking.

In an interview with Moviefone, Seth Rogen said he didn't know what Lindsay LOLhan was talking about when she told Nylon he wasn't returning her phone calls about a project.

He said, "That is not … That's the first I had heard of that. And my assistant hadn't heard it either. I can tell you that she hasn't called me. If she has, I haven't heard about it. [But] I would call her back, sure! I'd return a call."

LOLhan is so delusional that she must be on the bad drugs these days!

Recently slimmed-down funnyman Seth Rogen opted not to drop trou on the April 2009 cover of Playboy.

What a shame!

Seth still adheres to the X-rated mag's standards with a no holds barred interview that does not disappoint!

Rogen was quite the troublemaker when he first arrived in Los Angeles, getting arrested in Malibu for pulling a Fishy Phelps!

"When I first came to L.A. I got caught smoking weed on a beach in Malibu and had to go to court… I was thinking, We’re in Los Angeles. There are probably 400 people getting murdered at this second, and these two cops are taking an hour to write up my court summons for smoking a joint on the beach. That just seemed so fucking ridiculous to me," the Observe and Report star and 'Stoner of the Year' winner reminisced.

Rogen also discusses watching porn with other dudes: “I realized very early that there are two types of men in this world: Those who are comfortable sitting in a large group of men watching porn and those who are uncomfortable sitting in a large group of men watching porn. I am definitely in the latter category."

Even though he can't deal with watching dirty flicks around other guys, would Seth ever have the balls to show off his bits and pieces in a film???

It depends!

“It would have to be funny. I’m a very serious actor when it comes to nudity. I’m like Meryl Streep.”

Sounds like the funnyman is a little shy when it comes to his prized package!

Love it!!

The photo, featuring director Judd Apatow's darlings, is a direct spoof of the 2006 Annie Leibovitz VF cover featuring designer Tom Ford preying on actresses Keira Knightley and Scarlett Johansson in the buff.

“People have always said I’m the Scarlett Johansson of comedy. Always," Superbad star Jonah Hill joked.

Of course you are, Jonah!

Forgetting Sarah Marshall actor Jason Segel was a little more uneasy over the revealing shoot. "What an honor it was being on the Vanity Fair cover. I was a little uncomfortable doing the Tom Ford spoof. The only person more uncomfortable was my personal trainer.”

Whatevs, Jason.

Nude is a great color on you!!

Too bad Paul Rudd didn't slip on a bodysuit as well.

Now that's something we'd love to see!!

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind filmmaker Michel Gondry has been tapped to direct the silver screen adaptation of The Green Hornet set for a June 2010 release.

Starring Seth Rogen and Stephen Chow, it will be one of the most commercial films of Gondry's career.

Rogen wrote the script with his longtime co-writer, Evan Goldberg, and Gondry won directing duties after pitching a vision that awed film execs. Rogen and Goldberg will executively produce.

It has been an arduous road to the silver screen for the super hero, who first appeared in a serialized radio show in the 1930s. Since then it has been adapted for television, but hit roadblocks on its way to the cinema.

Should prove to be very interesting! We wonder if Gondry will refrain from CG effects as he has in his previous works!
