You'll Barely Recognize Emma Stone As Billie Jean King In First Photo From Battle Of The Sexes With Steve Carell!
Is that you, Emma Stone??
Emma and her Crazy, Stupid, Love costar Steve Carell are back, and we mean WAY back in 1973 for the upcoming film Battle Of The Sexes.
The tennis flick — set to hit theaters some time in 2017 — recounts the historic match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs, at the time the host viewed sporting event in television history.
But it will also delve deeper into the athletes' personal lives:
We all need a little help sometimes!
The tennis star — who looked fit, strong, and gorg, as always — shared a snap of herself (above) in a light blue top and floral bikini bottoms, preparing to head out to the pool!
She also asked followers for lessons — on taking the perfect selfie!
Venus Williams' sister wrote in two different messages (below):
Tennis Tournament Director & CEO Resigns After Making Incredibly Sexist Comments! See What He Said Female Players Getting 'On Their Knees'!
Serves him right, too!
Raymond Moore, the CEO and tournament director at Indian Wells, a very popular yearly destination for pro tennis stars, has resigned from his position in disgrace.
His decision comes after quite a bit of backlash for some awful remarks about female tennis stars.
The shamed CEO said on Sunday, before the final of the BNP Paribas Open that featured Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka, that the women's game had a LOT to be thankful for from the men:
Maria Sharapova's Former Tennis Coach Says There's 'No Way In Hell' She Cheated — As She's Stripped Of Her UN Goodwill Ambassador Title!
How do you solve a problem like Maria Sharapova?
Well, according to her former coach, you don't have to — because she didn't do anything wrong in the first place!
The tennis star is currently under fire after admitting to failing a drug test at the Australian Open last week, and while she's been suspended from playing for the time being, one industry pro is still on her team.
Coach Robert Lansdorp trained Maria back when she was just 11 years old, and now he's saying there's "no way in hell" that the 28-year-old would intentionally break the rules!
In fact, the tennis mentor spoke to the Daily Mail on Tuesday accusing the World Anti-Doping Agency of causing a witch hunt, saying:
Former World Anti-Doping Agency President Says 'Reckless' Maria Sharapova Isn't Taking Enough Blame For Failed Drug Test!
Harsh! But is it over the line?
The 28-year-old Olympic silver medalist's suspension goes into effect on March 12 and she's already been dropped to varying degrees by Nike, Porsche, and TAG Heuer, but now the people behind the decision to make Meldonium an illegal performance enhancing drug in 2016 are speaking out against her.
Former World Anti-Doping Agency president Dick Pound spoke quite critically of Maria's scandal to the BBC on Tuesday, saying:
Well this is bad!
World champion speed skater Pavel Kulizhnikov failed his doping test, according to the athlete's coach, Dmitry Dorofeev — but the coach refused to say when or where the skater tested positive for the drug.
The World Anti-Doping Agency added the drug on their banned list on January 1, and while Dorofeev claims that Kulizhnikov took it last year before it became banned, it's not clear whether he did it knowingly after the first of the year.
Either way, the speed skater has to serve a doping ban now — and the five world championship gold medals he's won since the start of 2015 are just going to have to sit on the shelf!
For what it's worth, Kulizhnikov also served a doping ban from 2012 to 2014, after he tested positive for a separate drug… so, yeah…
This drug is becoming a real problem!

Despite explaining that she's been taking Meldonium — a non FDA-approved drug — for 10 years for health issues, Maria was still "provisionally suspended" starting on March 12 by the International Tennis Federation.
Well there's more bad news for the blonde beauty as Nike, Porsche, and TAG Huer are all distancing themselves from the athlete in light of the findings.
Nike is one of the athlete's bigger deals as she signed a deal with them back in 2010 worth $70 million over eight years. The athletic company released a statement regarding their decision saying:
