That seems pretty quick!

While on The Rachael Ray Show on Wednesday, Nick Lachey revealed some inneresting holiday plans with his fiance Vanessa Minnillo.

He said:

"We're going to be in Cincinnati with family, and hopefully having a white Christmas. We're going to be in Tuscany for New Year's. Who knows, we may be married in Tuscany, too!

I just basically told her, I said, 'Tell me where to be, when to be there and what to wear, and I'll be there.'"

Nick Lachey is extremely excited about his engagement to Vanessa Minnillo. So much so, that he is dishing about their relationship.

He said:

“I think that we have a great relationship. The good thing about our situation is that we kind of took our time with it. We’ve been together four and half years, so it’s just, the right thing at the right time for us.

We took a break for a little while there… I think that’s a healthy thing sometimes, when you’re kind of going through the growing process. The way I’ve always looked at it is, if you come out on the other side and you’ve learned something and you can kind of apply it to the next time that situation comes up, then you’re growing as a couple, and that’s what exciting to me. If you continue to grow as a couple, then you’re in good shape

We had a great evening, a great day, it just seemed like the right time [the engagement]. It was a romantic moment, a perfect moment, and she said, ‘Yes,’ so that was the most important part."

Oh, please! What's with this?!

Vanessa Minnillo was spotted shopping with fiance Nick Lachey yesterday in New York City, and oddly enough, she attempted to keep her wedding ring hidden by putting her left hand inside of her coat!

Why so shy??

Is someone's engagement ring not as nice as, ahem, someone else's?? LOLz!

Well, this just has disaster written all over it.

Although Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson only just got engaged, the singer is reportedly fast-tracking their nuptials for next month, so she can have a Christmas or New Year's Wedding!

According to a source:

"She wants to beat Nick to the altar. She knows that it is going to be tough to pull everything together on such short notice, so it might have to be a New Years wedding. In any case, she wants the focus to be on her wedding. She doesn't want her wedding to be the aftermath of his. It will be big and elaborate. She'll spare no expensive for fear that Nick and Vanessa will outdo her. She's already starting planning everything and has every family member working on her big day. At the moment, Joe is sitting back and being a great father supporting his daughter and his future son-in-law. However, you can bet after all the excitement has died down, Joe is going to do everything in his power to make sure Jessica doesn't walk down the aisle until Eric signs away any right he might have to Jessica's enormous fortune."

YEESH!

Nothing says "true love" and "long-lasting marriage" like trying to beat your ex-husband down the aisle and pushy father-in-laws!

We hope these two are thinking all of this stuff through…

Well, that was fast!!

Just days after her ex Nick Lachey announced his engagement to Vanessa Minnillo, Jessica Simpson has some big news herself.

She and NFL player Eric Johnson are getting married after the couple began dating in May.

Jess was spotted wearing some major bling on her engagement finger at Dillard's in Kansas City on Saturday.

Her rep confirmed it: "Yes, we are excited to confirm that they are engaged!"

When Jess was asked about her man, she said, "This is just normal, thank God. He's very, very supportive. [I] couldn't ask for a better man in my life right now."

You just do you, bb! And who cares if your ex made his announcement first!

There's been plenty of speculation over Jessica's feelings about Nick's engagement to Vanessa Minnillo, and now Jessica had decided to speak up about it.

Here's what she had to say about the engagement:

"I am extremely, extremely happy for him. I don't know where all those rumors came from. My mom actually called me and said that everyone was saying that I was 'saddened.' I was just in complete shock. I couldn't be more happy for Nick."

More from Jessica:

"Our relationship was over a really long time ago, and it would be nice if everyone could move on with us and really just celebrate the love between him and Vanessa [Minnillo]. I do, and I really wish them nothing but the best"

We believe you, Jess! We know you're a strong woman, and we had our suspicions that you were probably doing all right.

Looks like engagement celebrations continue for Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo!

Following their engagement, they traveled to Mexico, and yesterday they continued the celebration out in Nick's hometown of Cincinnati.

After a Cincinnati Bengals game, the newly engaged couple partied at Mainstay Rock Bar, where they rented out the second floor, and hired a private DJ, as well as a bar!

Getting engaged to Nick Lachey sounds like a blast but let's hope this is the last time somebody gets to experience it.

No one would judge her if she is, but we happen to think she's a bit stronger than this.

A source is claiming that Jessica Simpson is "deeply saddened" by the news that her ex-husband, Nick Lachey, plans to marry his longtime girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo.

Jess' "friend" explains that “even though Jessica wants to be happy for Nick, this is a very difficult time for her.” The source adds:

“Nick was the love of her life then, man, and he was her first, so she will always have a very special place in her heart for him. She’s deeply saddened.”

But look how far she has come from those days? Look at all the incredible things she has accomplished. Sure, no on likes to see their first love take such a huge step before they get a chance to, but your time will come, Jess.

We have faith you are going to find someone wonderful! Maybe it's even Eric! Who knows?
