We had nothing but good feelings when we found out that Tim Burton was once again directing his longtime muse, Winona Ryder, in a music video for The Killers, but now that the finished product has arrived, we're happy to report that this effort really IS something else entirely!
And ultimately, it's PURE, classic Burton…and in a lot of ways, more-so than even some of his recent big-screen efforts!
Ch-ch-check out the actress going back to her Edward Scissorhands blonde as a starlet whose longtime fan ends up finding love with a wax mannequin with her likeness (above)!
Just ENTRANCING, isn't it?
This is absolutely EPIC news!
While The Killers have yet to announce what they're next single from latest album, Battle Born, will be, we can report that they've already started shooting its music video….because the band has been spotted doing just that inside the iconic Tower Ballroom in Blackpool, UK…with director Tim Burton at the helm of the production and starring
A year ago we heard a sequel to Beetlejuice was a possibility.
Then we were THRILLED to learn that director Tim Burton is (probs) in and Beetlejuice 2 is (most likely) happening!
Now Winona Ryder is spilling some more deets about the spooky-scary comedy!
At the Toronto International Film Festival, the original Beetlejuice star told reporters she doesn't know much:
The sequel that Winona Ryder was hoping for may be dead in the water, but the spirit of her 1988 teen comedy classic will live on through an entirely new generation of fans!
We heard a while back that a script for a television adaptation of the movie was floating around Hollywood and now Bravo has confirmed they have decided to bring it to life!
As part of the reality network's plan to start producing scripted "TV that pushes boundaries conceptually and thematically while still telling a fun story," the show follows
We ADORE Winona Ryder and we would gnaw off our own hand to share a cramped tent with James Franco in the dead of winter!
Loin urges aside, however, this peek at The Letter has us thinking "return to sender."
Ch-Ch-Check out the completely cray trailer (above) to watch Winona get all paranoid and delusional while James, frankly, gives us the heebie-jeebies!
We enjoy psychological thrillers but question whetherthis one is up to snuff!
Still, James Franco!! Yummmy!
And he's the second cutest undead dog we've EVER seen!!
Based off of a short the eccentric director scrapped together before making it big, Frankenweenie is Tim Burton's next black and white stop motion-animated feature.
We have a fresh look at young genius Victor Frankenstein, voiced by Charlie Tahan, and his undead dog Sparky (above.)
Cast as some of the dead dog whisper's friends and family are the HIGHlarious Martin Short, as Dad, and the lovable Winona Ryder.
Sounds like a good cast!!
R U excited to watch Disney's Frankenweenie this October?
Or does this feel like another Nightmare Before Christmas/Corpse Bride retread??
