Victoria Beckham is using her name for good again.

The designer is showing support to a campaign which aims to save the London Printworks textile company from closing.

Posh, and a handful of other designers like Sarah Campbell and Jonathan Saunders, have designed bank notes to be sold in order to raise money to keep the print factory from closing.

The company needs to raise a bit over $300,000 in order to stay open.

More People Are Shopping With Credit Cards

credit-card-spending-rose-during-black-friday.jpg

Not only did Black Friday (and Cyber Monday) see a spike in sales (both at the stores and online) but credit card usage went up as well.

On Black Friday, purchases made by credit card were up 7.4% from the previous year.

It's a good thing that people are spending money and helping the economy, but not so good that they're doing it with credit.

Though even more surprising is an estimate made by Javelin Strategy & Research that forecasts credit card payments for online purchases will go up 63% by 2016 with just a 2% increase for debit cards.

Salma Hayek was spotted in Bueno Aires, Argentina, yesterday looking lovely as ever.

The starlet was there to promote her role in Puss in Boots.

And despite having enough money to buy almost anything she wants, Salma still enjoys a bit of window shopping.

Miz Hayek was escorted by her entourage as she browsed different stores looking at jewelry and outfits.

Just a regular day for Salma it seems.

Why Aren't More Stylish Plus-Size Lines Available?

nettap-q-and-a-banner.jpg

Here’s a question from CoColicious reader Bella regarding plus-size fashion:

Hi NettaP!

Love your Vlogs – Question - If the plus size apparel market is booming why aren't there more stylish lines available?

Thanks,
Bella

Our fashionista Netta P responds:

hey bella! that's a complicated question that i think there are several answers to. i've been told that the demand is not there, and i can definitely see how that's true. so many plus size women are wrapped up in trying to lose weight, that many of them don't want to make an investment in expensive clothing if they are planning on not being able to wear it later. i think it's true of most women, especially in the united states, that many of them aren't receiving the message that it's ok to be confident in the size you are NOW, and, even if they are receiving that message, many plus size women don't know what options there are out there for them. there are way more stylish lines available to us than when i was a teenager. the beauty of the internet is that it's breaking down the barriers between consumers and designers. when women start to see themselves in a different light, and when they really start "getting" the message that it's ok to not diet all the time, i'm hoping the demand will be stronger. cause lord knows i don't want to see another of the same style dress that i saw last year, and the year before, and the year before. it really will take us continuing to demand that we be treated the same as everyone else! the other problem is that the message that there are options out there isn't being communicated either. so, in turn, those other options aren't supported, they can't survive, and then they die out. that's also why it's important to diversify your spending patterns. find those new designers that you love, save the money for the expensive piece, invest in it. and if it doesn't fit you a year later, you've worn the mess out of it for the season that it did, and maybe you can swap it with a friend or sell it online. life's too short to worry about what size you'll be next season - losing weight, gaining it or not!

What are UR thoughts on the question above?

retail-spending-decreasing-this-year.jpg

The holidays aren’t looking so great for retailers.

According to a new forecast by ShpperTrak, sales will not be as high as last year. Shoppers will also be going to less stores.

Last year, sales rose 4.1% in November and December, but this year forecasts are just at a 3% rise.

As for customer traffic in the stores, that’s going to be down about 2.2% with more shoppers deciding to purchase online.
