After Joakim Noah shouted a gay slur at a fan during game 3 of the Bulls v. Heat series, the NBA fined him $50,000.

He spoke this morning and acknowledged that it was a fair punishment.

Said Noah:

"I made a mistake, learned from it and move on. That's about it. I was just ready to face the consequences and move on and get ready for this game. I don't want to be a distraction to the team."

He doesn’t sound too apologetic for it. Hopefully he’s truly learned his lesson!

Chicago Bullls Joakim Noah was caught yelling, “f*** you f***ot,” at a member of the audience during a playoff game against the Miami Heat.

The NBA decided to fine him $50,000 for the comment, which is half of what Kobe Bryant was fined for yelling almost the exact same thing.

Hopefully this teaches him a lesson!

Yikes!

Gloria James must have been really trashed and REALLY angry!

The attorney representing Rockfeller Sorel in his lawsuit against Lebron James' mother says that before the angry NBA mom slapped him, she leaned in said:

"You don't know who I am, you f**king n**ger. Tomorrow, you won't have a job."

That's because he'll be living off your son for the rest of his life!

Who wants a job when your about win hundreds of thousands of dollars in an assault lawsuit?

The entire incident was caught on tape and the valet's attorney says the video shows Gloria was clearly the aggressor by leaning into her client as she launched into her alleged racial attack.

We don't really know who will win this, but the evidence seems stacked pretty high against LeBron's wallet Gloria. Gotta learn to control that temper, gurl!

Yay!

NBA Commissioner David Stern wasted no time in slapping a large fine on Kobe Bryant for using a homophobic to insult a ref (fucking f**got).

Said Stern:

”Kobe Bryant's comment during last night's game was offensive and inexcusable. While I'm fully aware that basketball is an emotional game, such a distasteful term should never be tolerated. … Kobe and everyone associated with the NBA know that insensitive or derogatory comments are not acceptable and have no place in our game or society.”

His actions are garnering praise from gay rights organizations who were upset with Kobe for saying the slur and then not giving an aopology.

Said Human Rights Campaign President Joe Solmonese:

”We applaud Commissioner Stern and the NBA for not only fining Bryant but for recognizing that slurs and derogatory comments have no place on the basketball court or in society at large, We hope such swift and decisive action will send a strong and universal message that this kind of hateful outburst is simply inexcusable no matter what the context.”

Well done, NBA!

GLAAD is pissed off at Kobe and is demanding the NBA punish him!

Said Jarrett Barrios, the head of GLAAD:

"[Kobe's] statement is a start, but the NBA must now take action."

Barrios continued:

"No matter the intent, slurs like this fuel intolerance. The NBA has a chance to show leadership by taking disciplinary measures and sending a message that words like this have no place in sports."

We agree. This CANNOT go unpunished!

Leave it to Kobe Bryant to not apologize.

In a statement regarding his outburst of, “fucking fa**got,” at last night’s game, Kobe said:

“What I said last night should not be taken literally. My actions were out of frustration during the heat of the game, period. The words expressed do NOT reflect my feelings towards the gay and lesbian communities and were NOT meant to offend anyone.”

Kobe, just apologize!

Just because you didn’t MEAN to offend anyone doesn’t mean you didn’t! What you said was hateful and hurtful.

Being in the “heat of the game” is no excuse for your actions.

You’re an adult. Learn not to throw temper tantrums!
