We really hope this isn't true!
While Saturday Night Live has been accused of taking ideas for some of their sketches before, one of their skits from this weekend's episode has them in hot water.
That's because the concept of their Pitch Perfect sketch was done, in its entirety, by Canadian satire series This Hour has 22 Minutes this past January.
The idea for the skit is that a team on Win, Lose, or Draw has the impossible task of drawing The Prophet Muhammad while trying to compete for $1 million.

We can see how two separate companies could come up with the same idea since drawing Muhammad has always been taboo, especially in the news recently, but the smaller jokes are what really make this seem like thievery.
For one thing, the contestants are playing for $1 million dollars in both skits, which is an arbitrary number that wouldn't exist in a real life game show, while also featuring a player with the name Taylor.
But what really drives the fact home is the hosts of each show are wearing the same exact outfit, down to the purple polka-dot tie.
Basically, it's a little too similar to simply be a coincidence…
Ch-ch-check out both shorts and decide for yourself (above & below)!!!
