New Details On 1,000-Lb. Sisters' Amy Slaton's Arrest: Cops Found 80 GRAMS Of Weed & Mushrooms AND Zoo Says She's Lying About Camel Bite!

No wonder cops were suspicious!

Amy Slaton reportedly had magic mushrooms and 80 GRAMS of marijuana in her possession when she was arrested at the Tennessee Safari Park in the city of Alamo on Monday!

The drugs were listed in arrest warrants obtained by the US Sun on Wednesday, which stated that the substances were found in the 1,000-Lb. Sisters star’s vehicle — a car that allegedly smelled overwhelmingly of drugs when cops first approached.

Remember, authorities were called to the scene after Amy was allegedly bitten by a camel at the zoo attraction on Labor Day. One of the zoo owners, Jon Conley, is now clapping back at her story, telling TMZ that her filleted wound — above her elbow — doesn’t match that of a camel. He also argued that their camels have always been friendly and have never bitten a guest before. Plus, he found no surveillance footage to back up the story and claims the reality star has been unable to explain where in the park she was bitten. So, the whole thing is a bit odd.

He’s no longer the only one defending the creatures, either! Another co-owner of the zoo, Claude Conley, told the US Sun that their camels absolutely didn’t do this, arguing:

“We dispute that Amy was bitten by a camel because there is no bruising. She cut her arm on something, it’s not consistent with an animal bite.”

As for Amy’s apparent beau Brian Scott Lovvorn, who was arrested alongside her, Claude claimed that he was acting really wild before he was ultimately busted:

“Her boyfriend or the man she was with was acting crazy, screaming and yelling and all kinds of stuff. He got mad that the police came out there because he just wanted the ambulance to come.”

Well, no wonder he was pissed! Not only was he probably already high, but he knew what was in that car!! Weed is still illegal in Tennessee, so the fact that they had 80 grams is insane!! Especially since it was reportedly “in plain sight” of the cops, too! They weren’t even trying to be subtle!

Claude noted that “Brian was yelling about someone to come help him and wanted to get some bandages” and made it very clear that he did not want cops involved. However, once police did come, “he started yelling at the cops about something else.” Claude added:

“They started smelling his vehicle and with the way he was acting, that’s when they arrested him.”

As for Amy, the co-owner expressed:

“I’m just glad that no one was seriously injured and the family are doing OK. My manager said the Slaton sisters have been here multiple times before and we’ve never had a problem. I’d never watched their show until last night. I watched five or six episodes. I heard everybody loves the show but I have no comment on that.”

LOLz! Is that a little shade we detect??

As Perezcious readers know, once the cops found the whole stash, Amy and Brian were arrested for illegal possession of Schedule I drugs, illegal possession of Schedule VI drugs, and two counts of child endangerment. The arrest warrants noted that two kids under the age of 8 were on-scene for the incident and picked by a relative at the time of the arrest. The cops haven’t confirmed, but the children were presumably Amy’s kids Gage, 4, and Glenn, 2, whom she shares with her ex-husband Michael Halterman. Her sister Tammy was reportedly the one who came and got them.

Their momma received on-site medical care before being briefly transported to the hospital to have her so-called camel bite examined. After that, she was taken into police custody, TMZ reported. By Tuesday afternoon, they were both released on $10,000 bonds and left the police station “holding hands,” People sources shared. And now, they are scheduled to be in court for their arraignment on Thursday, September 5, according to the US Sun.

So far, Amy has not spoken publicly about the legal drama. Reactions? Sound OFF (below)!
