So, Wednesday night numbers are in!
Who took the top spot?? Well, it’s not that surprising, but, American Idol‘s Hollywood week is the champ! It had no mercy on its competitior, CBS, beating the pants off them with a 153% difference!
Wow!
Suspect Behavior, Forest Whitaker‘s spinoff of Criminal Minds, actually beat out it’s original counterpart on its debut.
Survivor, unfortunately, had its lowest premiere ever.
The source says this about Survivor:
“[It] was the franchise’s lowest-rated premiere to date, down 29% from last year’s spring launch. Significant to note: Survivor has never competed head-to-head with Idol until this season, as the CBS reality series has almost always aired Sundays.”
Well, it makes sense to us that it would happen going up against Idol for the first time!
And finally, we had an article last week about Mr. Sunshine pulling in extremely strong numbers for its debut.
It didn’t last, we’re afraid, as it took a pretty big hit in numbers this week, alongside its lead-in, the hilarious Modern Family.
