We knew Tuesday night ratings would be weird due to Obama’s State of the Union Address…but wow!
Last night, Fox was #1 in the ratings AGAIN thanks to an American Idol repeat, which landed 9.5 million total viewers and a 3.3 rating in the adults 18-49 demo. Impressive!
As for the State of the Union Address, it brought in 5.3 million viewers and a 1.9 for Fox.
CBS couldn’t beat Fox for the night overall, but it DID have the most watched show! An NCIS repeat brought in 12.3 million viewers, and a 2.0 rating.
Obama’s speech brought in 7.1 million viewers and a 1.5 rating for their network.
NBC couldn’t quite compete with the other networks overall, but their Obama telecast was the most-watched last night, with 7.1 million viewers and a 2.0 rating.
ABC also wasn’t much of a competitor. Their telecast of the speech landed 7.1 million viewers and a 1.8 rating.
