Idol Takes The Night! Ratings Are In!

Yeah yeah, nobody is surprised that American Idol topped the night last night in ratings!
The surprise comes from Mobbed, who’s rating saw a spike — and ended up giving Fox the night’s win.
Fox averaged a 4.5 among adults 18-49 which is about 14 million people. Idol grabbed a 6.0 in the demo, and the total viewers were up by 2 percent. Mobbed got a 3.0!
ABC was second with 8.4 million viewers, and leading the pack there was the brilliant Modern Family with a 5.5.
Then came CBS, which saw a dip in ratings — even with the ever popular CSI.
And then the CW… who somehow survives with shows getting 0.7 and 0.4 — not sure how that’s working out, but they’re trying.
Either way, Idol‘s Hollywood Week seems to be when people REALLY start watching!
