For those you American Idol doubters, you better start eating crow now!
You’d think the singing competition show, which is currently in its 11th season, would be a little stale by now, but guess what?? It’s still getting HIGH ratings!
In fact, it even beat out NBC’s rival hit The Voice!
Oh yes, AI has reclaimed the number one spot for the season, including the The Voice‘s special post-Super Bowl monster-rating episode from earlier this year.
Idol still averages a little more than 16 million viewers (whoa) so we have a feeling it’s going to win big when the end of May rolls around.
We still have a few weeks to go before both competition shows come to an end this season, but our money goes to American Idol. You know, if we were the betting types…
