Bette Midler is going to be on GLEE!
Showrunner and our personal dreamweaver, Ryan Murphy asked The Fabulous Mz. M to come on the FOX show during a charity gala in NYC Monday night.
Ry broke the news via Twitter, writing:
I just asked the incredible Bette Midler to be on Glee in front of 1,000 people. I hope she says yes!

How about Sarah Jessica Parker‘s sister? It would be a shocking twist if she and SJP’s character was secretly plaining on stealing Kurt and Rachel‘s souls! HA!
To help Ryan decide Bette Tweeted her own (not already used in Hocus Pocus) idea, suggesting:

Perhaps she’s Rachel’s biological Granny who happens to live in NYC too!
But seriously, it doesn’t matter what role Bette is given — no matter what she’s gonna be so incredible we’ll be able to die happy after watching it.
That is… as long as she doesn’t sing Wind Beneath My Wings. LOLz!
