When Steven Tyler left American Idol, the biggest loser was America!
Oh, no, wait, it was Steven’s manager. Wait, what??
That’s what Kovac Media Group is alleging in its eight million dollar lawsuit! And they blame Steven’s lawyer Dina LaPolt for ruining Idol contract negotiations!
Aren’t managers and lawyers both supposed to fight for their clients? Why are they fighting each other?
In a legal declaration, Steven himself says that the management company’s loss was all the manager’s fault. In fact, he wanted to leave even before the whole mess began. He says:
“It is an understatement to say that I was very unhappy with the services and conduct of Allen Kovac.
Among other things, he was disrespectful and rude to my business associates, insulted and verbally abused my fianc├â┬⌐, my lawyer, my family, my assistants, and my accountants.”
Verbally assaulted?? Oh snap! Is that what passes for “managing” these days?
LaPolt’s own lawyers are seeking to get the case thrown out of court in January. At least, that’s the legal action she’s taking. We’re pretty sure behind closed doors, she’s spending more time “managing” Kovac.
