Former Food Network Chef Sentenced To Jail For Murder Plot

Juan-Carlos Cruz went from hosting Food Network’s Calorie Commando to trying to get two homeless men to murder his wife.

What kind of life is that?!

Apparently fertility issues were at the core of the problem between him and his wife (they had tried for 20 years to have a baby but failed).

Police caught Cruz when they set up a sting and video-taped him offering two homeless men $500 to kill his wife, and even showed one of them how to get into his apartment.

Despite Cruz’s disgusting behavior, he has only been sentenced to 9 years in jail, and will be up for parole in half that time.

Thank God he wasn’t able to follow through with it!
