Starbucks Considering Purchasing Rival Coffee Chain

To continue it’s coffee world domination, Starbucks is in talks to buy rival California-based coffee retailer, Peet’s Coffee & Tea.
While neither side has commented on the sale or acquisition, analysts speculate it is “not about the coffee shops. It’s about growing the grocery business. That’s where (a possible merger) has a lot of synergies” ”
The possible synergies are reffering to selling coffee products in grocery stores and selling their products in single-cup coffee machines.
