The most addicting cookies in the world just got easier to buy!
Girl Scouts are still doing door-to-door sales, but you can now pay for them with a credit card, thanks to a device called “GoPayment” that attaches to smart phones.
Said Marianne Love, director of business services for the Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio:
“Normally I think a lot of customers would love to buy cookies, but they have to walk by the booth because they’re not carrying cash. I know I never carry cash when I’m out shopping.”
As of now, the device is only being used by a limited amount of troops in the US, but if they are successful then they will probably be rolled out everywhere soon enough.
