Kara Jackson, 12, was home alone one evening when a bear suddenly began clawing into her kitchen!
She said:
“When I saw him, I clapped as loud as I could and ran upstairs.”
Then she called her father, who called the police.
The bear was only a baby, but a whopping 150-pound baby.
After going through their kitchen the bear left on its own.
When the Sheriff arrived the bear was in the backyard, but up a tree.
Kara remained calm the entire time, and was apparently found waiting in her parents room, putting on nail polish! Kara said:
“[the bears] were here first; we weren’t. So they obviously will invade your space.”
Wow. What a brave little girl. We’d probably be hiding in a box in the attic. LOLz!
