It was the combination of Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson (and the talent) that initially got the world hooked on American Idol, so maybe the only thing that can save it would be getting the original trio back together!!!
And perhaps, just perhaps, Simon is starting to think that too???
Over the weekend, Simon tweeted one of the nicest things we’ve ever heard from him, saying:
Randy leaving idol made me remember that Paula randy me and Ryan had the best time. I miss them.

So it appears that all three miss each other equally and would all totes be down to be judges together again, right?!??
Even if this wasn’t exactly what Simon was thinking when he first started this Twitter orgy of love, he should definitely be thinking it now!!
