Justice, as they say in the Deep South, is a dish best served with a buttery batch of steamin’ hot grits!
Ok, maybe that cliche hasn’t permeated the Southern zeitgeist quite yet, but give them a few more generations, you know how impervious they are to change!
If you haven’t heard, a low-down dirty armed gunman broke into Scotty McCreery‘s North Carolina home earlier this week and robbed the young singer blind!!
It was an awful encounter for the 20-year-old American Idol champion, so terrifying that he even described it as the worst morning of his life!! Wow, we can totally understand how hard that must be to go through!
Tonight, however, he will be sleeping more soundly. That’s because Raleigh police just arrested 19-year-old Mikkail Jamal Shaw (above, right) in connection with the horrific crime!
Phew!!
Cops haven’t specified whether more suspects are currently being investigated, but this is still good news for Scotty. The dude has a heart of gold & a voice so deep we doubt it can be heard by dogs — he definitely shouldn’t live with a fear of being attacked by armed assailants!!
