Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey are totally fabulous on their own, but when the former judges clashed on American Idol, it was FAR FROM delightful.
Just ask Keith Urban, who had to listen to the ladies bicker every single day on the season 12 set.
Most of the time Keith was even seated in the middle of the ladies in order to keep the peace, but he’s not blaming the ladies for the constant feuding.
Keith actually blames the network!!!
The country crooner explained:
“[Mariah and Nicki were] hoodwinked going into Idol. There was a concerted effort to make this incredibly frictious environment. [It] made the show something it was never intended to be.”
Ohhh shiz!
We have newfound respect for Keith, for sure! The Aussie just revealed some MAJOR truth about the network that still writes his checks!
