Still upset that Jessica Lange won’t be returning for Season 5 of American Horror Story? We are, too!
But we’re quickly cheering up, because it’s just been announced that Chlo├â┬½ Sevigny will be joining the cast of AHS: Hotel! Series creator Ryan Murphy tweeted the news:
Very excited to announce that Chloe Sevigny returns to the AHS family as a series regular on “AHS: Hotel.”

Sevigny is no stranger to the hit horror anthology on FX. The 40-year-old played an inmate at Briarcliff Manor in Season 2’s Asylum. Hopefully this time, her character won’t get her (SPOILER) legs amputated by an evil doctor!

Last week, Murphy also announced via Twitter that Hunger Games actor Wes Bentley would be joining the cast of Hotel as a series regular! The rest of the cast includes Lady GaGa, Cheyenne Jackson, and Matt Bomer — who also appeared briefly in one episode of season 4’s Freak Show.
No word on if Sevigny will be reprising her role from season 2, but maybe this is a sign that the new season could tie in to Asylum!?
Either way, we’re sure more details will be revealed over the next few months before the show returns in October on FX!
