Still wondering why anyone would watch the revived American Idol without any bad auditions? To that, we have one word…
Wig.
A clip from the upcoming season went viral for showing the pure bond between Katy Perry and Noah Davis, who immediately fell in love with each other after the soon-to-be favorite contestant uttered a single word.

That word struck a chord with Katy Kat, causing her to genuinely light up in excitement just to make sure she and Noah were on the same page.
What followed was an exchange that sounded like a secret language to anyone not in on the lingo — like fellow judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, who were confused AF and completely left in the dark as to why Katy was wigging out.
Twitter responders fell SO in love with the moment, they’re claiming Noah single-handedly revived Katy’s career! Ha!
