What’s going on with Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick? A source now says they’re all good!
In case you missed it, a report dropped that the two women are feuding. Why? Blake and Anna are about to release a new film in a few months called Another Simple Favor, the sequel to A Simple Favor. But as you know, the Gossip Girl alum is embroiled in a messy legal battle with another co-star — Justin Baldoni. Anna reportedly is pissed over how Blake has handled the situation, as she feels it will hurt their upcoming film. A source said:
“There is a gigantic pink elephant in the room that no one is acknowledging. The backlash to initial promo has been brutal. There are people protesting and refusing to see it. Blake has not addressed this. She has not called the cast to apologise. She has not done anything like that. She has stayed quiet and hidden away. She owes Anna an apology. She owes them all an apology.”

And you know what? Anna’s not wrong! Blake is not loved by the public right now as many are siding with Justin in this ordeal! A lot of folks have even said they’ll refuse to watch Another Simple Favor because the actress is in it! So yeah, the drama totally will negatively impact the project!
That’s not the only thing! The promo poster for the film also created an issue between them! See, the picture features Anna’s name first, while Blake’s name is slightly above hers — something fans thought was very odd! Take a look (below):
An insider claimed that the pair fought over the poster as Anna thought she’d get “top billing over Blake” as she did with the first film. However, the Age of Adaline star was not down for that! She fought Anna on it. Eventually, they agreed on a staggered billing, but neither of them was “thrilled” about it. Yikes.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about Blake and Anna having beef. It has been circulating for years — starting all the way back to when they were working on the first movie! But is the speculation true? Do they have bad blood? Sources close to the situation told TMZ on Friday night NO! They are not feuding now, nor have they ever!
The insiders swear the duo “are totally cool with one another,” and any rumors about them fighting over the billing for the sequel are BS! According to the outlet, the billing was established before production began and has nothing to do with Blake or Anna. Those close to the co-stars believe people are trying to create drama when there was never any. Instead, they have only ever had “playful banter” between them. That’s it. Basically, the insiders insist the feud rumors are completely “false.”

Do you buy this, Perezcious readers? Guess we’ll have to see how the vibes are when Anna and Blake begin promotion for the sequel. Well, that is IF Blake does promo! She has a contractual obligation but her bosses may decide against it due to the backlash surrounding the legal drama with Justin!
