But since the series doesn’t premiere until later this year, co-creator Ryan Murphy is offering up some more details on what’s in store for the fourth installment — and it’s all about terrifying clowns! He said:
“It was always a concept that Jessica and I talked about really early on. It was always her favorite one, which I thought was funny. I├óΓé¼Γäóve had many different versions that I├óΓé¼Γäóve run by her. I just love it. It feels really right. I thought it was going to be light but it├óΓé¼Γäós turning out to be quite terrifyingly dark, which it feels much more like the Asylum season. But look ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ if you have a character named the Clown Killer, it├óΓé¼Γäós going to be dark. The most terrifying clown ever!”
