American Idol Is Going To Change!

Because of low(er) ratings, FOX plans to cancel change American Idol … again!!
A FOX big wig recently confessed that there are going to be a LOT of creative changes to the show. He revealed at this morning’s upfronts:

“our challenge for [American Idol] next year is to put some fresh energy in. We probably didn’t do enough this year.”

Fox entertainment prez, Kevin Reilly, confirmed this, adding that before next season Idol will undergo “some creative tweaking.”
WTF does that mean???
Are they going to get spinny red chairs, or have group acts? Since Reilly was unwilling to elaborate on the changes, we don’t really know. Howeves, we’re pretty sure Idol‘s newest judges, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez don’t need to worry about their job security.
The FOX prez says he thinks the judges are the cause behind the ratings drop. He describes the trio as:

“terrific and have great chemistry and integrity.”

We are excited to hear updates of the show’s metamorphous, whatever the hell it may be!
