His career will never be as fruitful as the babe who beat him out in the first season of American Idol (Hi Kelly!), but at least his love life seems to have held up better than hers.
Justin Guarini will marry his high school sweetheart this weekend near their hometown in Pennsylvania. Ironically, it took several years after graduation for the two to start dating, but after two years, they are finally tying the knot.
His soon-to-be-wife, Reina Capodic, does come with some baggage – albeit cute baggage – a four year old daughter from a previous relationship, but it hasn’t stopped him from looking forward to walking down the aisle. In fact, he’ll even exchanging vows with the little one up at the alter.
The pair will have a “spiritual” service, in which they have written their own vows and will have an alternative string quartet playing a song selection from Radiohead, Paramore and Peter Gabriel.
Boy, this is going to be one interesting affair.
He describes the wedding as an “intimate family affair”, but we wonder if that means the exclusion of some of his Idol buds.
