American Idol To Pay Tribute To Whitney Houston Next Week

We’re pleased to announce that next week on American Idol, the female portion of the Top 13 contestants will pay tribute to Whitney Houston. The men will sing Stevie Wonder songs.
Here’s what host Ryan Seacrest had said about a Whitney tribute, soon after her passing:

“We are trying to figure out how we can go in and obviously pay tribute [to Houston] in some way and acknowledge the impact that she had on popular singers, popular music and young singers that are trying to make it.”

We’re glad they were able to figure something out, and we’ll definitely be checking this out!
