What the hell is wrong with NBC?
Not EVERYTHING has to be a competition! If Ann Curry wants to wish Robin Roberts well while she’s fighting an insanely scary medical problem, well, she should be allowed to. Without your permission. Regardless if you feel like she was trying to “aid the enemy.”
That’s so offensively asinine that we’re about to barf. Aiding the enemy?? REALLY??
Here’s what the report said:
“Ann Curry was gone but not gone, which created a situation of spectacular awkwardness. Any trust that had existed between Curry and Today was shattered. When Robin Roberts left Good Morning America a month later to get treatment for MDS, Curry asked NBC if she could tweet a note of sympathy for the ABC co-host. NBC said no, afraid she was trying to aid the enemy.”
We wonder what the entertainment landscape would be like if people in power had hearts. Would things be better, or worse?
Whoever came up with that decision should feel awful, and we hope they have trouble sleeping at night. A woman was in the HOSPITAL, and all that was requested was the giving of some moral support!
Truth be told, we hope Anne finds a better and happier home somewhere else. We’re REALLY starting to dislike how NBC goes about their ‘business.’ It’s disgusting!
