Pete Davidson is the luckiest guy in the world — his words, not ours!
The Saturday Night Live star opened up about his whirlwind relationship with Ariana Grande in the September issue of GQ and admitted that he, too, finds their romance surreal.

Recalling their meet cute, the 24-year-old said it was love at first sight — at least on his end — as he told Ari he’d tie the knot with her just a day after they first exchanged glances. He remembered:
“The day I met her, I was like, ‘Hey, I’ll marry you tomorrow.'”
If you think that’s some big dick energy in action, Pete apparently sent his love interest photos of engagement rings when Ari called him out on his bluff. After the superstar sent back her favorites, the Staten Island native wrote back, “Sick.”
A romance for the ages.

Their courtship only sped up from there. As we now know, the Sweetner singer and comedian got engaged shortly after going public with their relationship. Now, Pete says they are, together, “learning how to be adults.”
As for why Ariana is playing along with his engagement double dog dare, Pete’s not questioning it. Instead, he said he’s counting his blessings:
“The universe works in strange ways. All I know is that I’m the luckiest guy in the world.”
Probably!
Pete is still getting used to living in Ariana’s $16 million apartment in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood, which boasts five bedrooms, four and a half baths, and their very own IMAX movie theater. The actor constantly acts like he’s a visitor in their new home, repeatedly telling his fiancé:
“Thank you for letting me stay here.”
But Ari always reminds him:
“This is our home.”
Sounds like Pete’s just as confused about this relationship as the rest of y’all!
