Who wouldn’t want to work with Superman?!
Armie Hammer might just be the victim of green-eyed envy today as it was just announced that he will be joining hunky Henry Cavill in their new, upcoming film, The Man From U.N.C.L.E.!
Set to be directed by Guy Ritchie, the film will be of the spy-thriller genre and a remake of the TV show. Henry’s role was originally meant for Tom Cruise, but it seems Armie is really looking forward to strapping down with the man in the red underwear!
He said:
“I would have loved to work with Tom, but at the same time, I’m also excited to do it with Henry, because it adds a different twist to the movie.”
The actor also explained how he’ll be preparing for his spy-role:
├óΓé¼┼ôI├óΓé¼Γäóm also very excited about playing a Russian… I├óΓé¼Γäóm in the middle of my research phase now. I├óΓé¼Γäóm studying the political climate during the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union. It was a fascinating time globally. It├óΓé¼Γäós such a great script (by Scott Z. Burns), and it├óΓé¼Γäós so funny! Guy Ritchie has such a great take on it.├óΓé¼┬¥
We just can’t refuse these two hunks!
Count us in!
