Armie Hammer Was ALMOST Batman! But Will He Be Back As The Caped Crusader In Upcoming Justice League Flick?

Armie Hammer came so close and yet so far to playing Batman!
He was cast as the caped crime fighter in George Miller‘s Justice League Of America – a WB production with a $220 million budget! This movie would have been HUGE! But the 2007 writers strike changed all of that├óΓé¼┬ª
Don’t feel too bad for Armie, though…
Even though his big break got busted, he landed on his feet with other roles that turned him into a star! But would he consider coming back as Batman for the studio’s second shot at Justice League?
When asked about the possibility, Armie said:

“I don’t know├óΓé¼┬ª It doesn’t seem like it would be executed as well as Marvel’s done theirs.”

Woah!
He’s of course talking about The Avengers, which made a BILLION and a half dollars at the box office when it came out last year. And it sounds like Armie is Team Marvel!
We think The Hammer should consider playing The Bat again though if DC comes a’calling. That’s just not a role you turn down dude!
