Ashley Benson & G-Eazy Cozied Up Over Memorial Day Weekend!

This Memorial Day weekend wasn’t exactly an ordinary holiday, but it seems like Ashley Benson and G-Eazy still made the most of it!

As we’ve been reporting, the two have been spotted out and about in El Lay as of late, coming fresh off of Benson’s breakup with Cara Delevingne. The unofficial start to summer this weekend also brought a sighting of the new couple enjoying some fresh air amid quarantine.

One eyewitness spilled to E! News:

“They looked very happy together. They went from a rented place in Malibu to his place in the valley. They joked around with each other and looked affectionate.”

‘Bu with the boo! Classic!! Another source added:

“Once they were in the car, they turned up the music and headed back to his place.”

While we’ve heard from plenty of sources about their budding relationship so far, Ash’s sister Shaylene Benson was the most insightful. She attested to the fledgling couple’s love of music and alluded to things “not necessarily” being Ashley’s fault, regarding the recent breakup. She previously captioned her Instagram Story:

“Morning thought: people can be so mean on social media it’s really disappointing. Especially when they know nothing about you, the situation, or what you may be going through. My heart breaks for you sis. Ugh.”

Once followers caught wind of her post, Shaylene later jumped back on her IG Story to clarify:

“Sometimes relationships end and speaking from experience, it’s not necessarily your fault. Maybe it’s no ones [sic] fault! Maybe it’s what the other person wanted and felt in their heart was the right thing to do for them. So at the end of the day, it was their choice not yours to end the relationship. I’m not a professional love doctor but maybe it’s good to allow yourself the opportunity to let go since it’s out of your control and move forward whatever that looks like for you…To heal.”

And seemingly referenced that her sis and the rapper bonded over music:

“And it’s okay if you decide to heal through music and collaborate with other artists. And if a spark happens. It’s not a crime when you’re single. I mean a lot of people meet through working together and if there is a connection, great! Do what you want. It’s no ones [sic] business.”

The public definitely thinks it’s their business, LOLz!!
